MAKING A MARK IN SOCIAL DEBATE
Securing 1st position in Social Debate under literary event, during YouthVibe-2018, LPU DE student Rahul Panday won cash prize of Rs. 5000.
TRIUMPHING IN KARIGIRI EVENT
LPU DE team of Mr. Rohit (Jalandhar), Ms. Renuka Jaswal and Bheena Jaswal (Urapar) participated in Fine Art event � Karigiri during LPU�s Global Youth Festival YouthVibe-2016 and bagged first position.
CREATING MASTERPIECES IN GREETING CARD MAKING
Exhibiting their exemplary Fine Arts abilities, LPU DE Student Mr. Rohit secured 1st position in Greeting Card making competition during YouthVibe-2015.
PERFORMING PUNJAB'S TRADITIONAL MALWAI GIDHA
Traditional Punjabi Folk Dance - Malwai Gidha, presented by LPU DE students in the sub-event Virsa- Folk Dance, won many accolades during YouthVibe-2014.
PROVING THEIR ACTING PROWESS IN SKIT "PLATFORM NO. 2
DE students from Ludhiana amused the audience with their acting prowess in the skit competition with their hilarious skit "Platform No. 2" during YouthVibe-2014.
EXHIBITING HEENA MAKING SKILLS
Distance Education students exhibited excellent Heena Making Skills during YouthVibe festivals held in LPU by winning first position for consecutive three years (2014, 2015, and 2016).
BRINGING ALIVE THE COLOURS OF SIKKIM
The colors of Sikkim, its vibrant culture and tribal dance, dedicated to the theme of �Festivals� in One India 2018, won DE students cash reward of Rs. 10,000.
MESMERISING THE AUDIENCE WITH MAHARASHTRIAN LAVANI
Dressed in bright saris and bedecked in golden jewellery, students performed the Lavani folk dance of Maharashtra state and enchanted the audience with their presentation. The overall performance got the students People�s Choice Award for representing Maharashtra during One India 2016.
PARTICIPATING IN TRIBAL DANCE OF NAGALAND
Depiction of tribal dances, culture and history of Nagaland, dedicated to the theme of World Peace, made the DE students win cash reward of Rs. 15,000 during One India 2017.
GLORIFYING THE MARATHA EMPIRE
LPU DE represented the state of Maharashtra, exhibiting the true spirit of valour and enthusiasm of Maratha Empire, depicted through Itihass ke Panno se during One India event held on 25th & 26th March 2016.
IMBIBING KANNADA CULTURE
The colorful depiction of Folk-art of Karnataka including Yaksha Gaan, Chittara Arts and Mud Paintings got Distance Education and Karnataka students of LPU 2nd runners-up trophy during One India event held on 18th & 19th February 2014.
HIGHLIGHTING WOMEN EMPOWERMENT IN WEST BENGAL
Colourful procession, Display Stall, Folk Dance and Music performances dedicated to the women achievers of West Bengal were the highlights of LPU DE participation during One India fest held on 19th & 20th March 2015.
RECREATING PUJA FESTIVITIES OF WEST BENGAL
Distance Education students, along with regular students of LPU belonging to West Bengal, gave a soulful performance in accordance with the theme Maa Tujhe Salaam in One India 2015.
