Near 20,000 scientists and researchers from across India and 60 countries including 3 Nobel Laureates attended the India Science Congress mega event. The event played a vital role in stimulating scientific research efforts in the country and the world.
SPECTRA 2026
LPU DE Students secured 1st position in the Spectra Runway - The Fashion Show, 2nd & Third position in Light Vocal Solo Category and 4th position in the Virasat Indian Folk Group Dance category during LPU’s 18th Inter-School Youth Festival, Spectra 2026.
19th Asian Games
LPU honoured 40 athletes, including Neeraj Chopra, Sukhmeet Singh, Lovlina Borgohain, and hockey champions, for their exceptional performances at the 19th Asian Games in 2023, contributing significantly to India's medal count.
16th Annual Sports Meet 2026
At LPU's 16th Annual Sports Meet 2026, Jobanjeet Singh, a B.A. student of Distance Education, showcased exceptional athleticism by winning Silver in Shot put and Bronze in Javelin Throw, bringing pride and glory to the Centre for Distance and Online Education.
One World 2026
The Centre for Distance and Online Education secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at LPU's ONE WORLD 2026 event for brilliantly showcasing the rich culture of Zimbabwe through compelling storytelling and creative presentation.
